Three people injured in truck accident.

On an evening in early February, a collision between a truck and a car occurred at approximately 6 p.m. The truck accident left one person seriously injured and two others with minor injuries. As the truck accident led to serious injuries, it is under investigation by Tennessee authorities with the Fatal Accident Crash Team.

The collision happened between a truck, operated by a 33-year-old female, and a car travelling in the opposite direction. Both drivers hail from the same Tennessee town. Authorities report that the car was struck in the front by the truck.

Both the female truck operator and the male car operator, age 59, were transported to a hospital in the vicinity for medical treatment of minor injuries. The female passenger in the car was seriously injured and had to be transported to a nearby medical center by ambulance. As the truck accident is still under investigation, no further information is available regarding the cause of the accident. As more information becomes available, it will be released by the authorities. However, should it emerge from the investigation that the truck operator acted negligently, the seriously injured passenger may elect to initiate a personal injury claim.

In Tennessee, the victim of a truck accident who suffers serious injuries may file a personal injury claim. Successfully litigated personal injury civil claims can provide compensation for monetary damages and, possibly, for pain and suffering. Monetary damages awarded from a successful claim could help the victim with medical bills, rehabilitation costs and any lost wages due to missing time from work.
